LifeSpring family,

We find ourselves in unprecedented circumstances with the mandates regarding COVID-19. As you probably are aware, Governor Evers has issued the “Safer at Home” order for the State of Wisconsin.

We are suspending all “in person” activities until May 24. We want to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

The Apostle Paul admonished the church to be subject to the governing authorities, “For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God” (Romans 13:1). Peter echoes Paul in I Peter 2:13-17. Our obligation as Christians is to support our government, so long as that government is not opposing the Word of God. In this crisis in our nation, the government is not opposing God’s Word and is not making any laws that would prohibit the church from being the church. We will have to change our methods for a time, but we will still be the Church that Jesus called us to be.

  • 10:00 am Spirit Life class – Facebook Live, taught by Rhese Morgan on his personal page
  • 11:00 am Sermon with Pastor Calhoun on Facebook Live on the LifeSpring page

Prior to tuning in for these events, gather your family together for a time of prayer and worship together. Open your home service with reading a passage of Scripture aloud and praying together.
We have put together a Spotify playlist to assist you in home worship, or you can use whatever musical talents you have in your family to worship the Lord together. Look for it to be posted to our LifeSpring page very soon. It is important for music to be part of your worship! “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise” (Psalm 100:4).

Giving is part of our worship. While we cannot currently give in person, the church’s monetary responsibilities are not suspended, so we ask you to continue to give to the work of the Lord. We are thankful for the technology that enables us to give during this time! If you are new to online giving, you can use one of the following methods:

  • Download the Church Center app and login to give
    App for ios
    App for Android
  • Text any amount to 84321 to give by text
  • Give on our website
  • If you are unable to give electronically, you can mail a check to:
    LifeSpring Church
    P.O. Box 1794

Join us as we unite in prayer for our city, our nation, and our world. We ask that you commit to at least one half hour slot of prayer per day. We believe God will do great things in response to our prayer commitment from March 24 – April 24! Sign up here!

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will heal their land”.
II Chronicles 7:14

We also have an online prayer wall that you can submit your requests and see requests others have asked prayer for.

Our groups cannot meet in person, but we can still be very actively connected!

  • Share resources both spiritual and physical. Watch your groups on the Church Center app to see content that your LifeGroup leaders upload to “resources”. Watch your emails for any content they may share with you.
  • We encourage all LifeGroup leaders to actively stay in touch with the members of your group
  • Be open with any personal needs you have and try to help others’ needs where you can
  • Look for opportunities to reach out into the community (safely)

  • Share what you’re listening to or watching for spiritual encouragement by text group and/or social media
  • Share Scripture you’ve been reading to encourage your spirit
  • Do not debate your beliefs online
  • Fervently pray for one another and for our country and world
  • Don’t waste your time on worldly entertainment but use this time to build your faith!

The best ways to stay connected and informed are through our website and on the Church Center app in “EVENTS” and “GROUPS”. Follow our Facebook page and our Instagram.

We will continue to update you with any changes as they happen. Thank you for being faithful to serving the Lord during this difficult time. Be encouraged and be an encourager!

We love you all and are praying that you can draw closer to Jesus.
