Services Cancelled

03/15/2020 – 03/16/2020 all-day

Church Family,

As you know, we have been monitoring the rapidly evolving situation with COVID-19. We want to act out of faith and not fear while also making choices that do not seem oblivious to the unrest and uncertainty around us. For that reason, we wanted to send you a message on how we are approaching the weekend ahead.

Services will be CANCELLED for Sunday, March 15th.

It is our desire to assist our community in the attempt to quarantine the outbreak of COVID-19 as much as possible. Choosing to not gather together this weekend was a difficult decision to make, because we know the importance of worshiping together, hearing the Word of God preached, and encouraging one another in our spiritual journeys.

We do ask that you participate in worship in some way with your family. Worship, sing, pray, and give together online.  Let’s still have great worship tomorrow, and exalt the Name of Jesus!

We believe that the Church, whether in one place or many, is desperately needed during this time of uncertainty. As you have shown time and again, your resilience, generosity, and commitment to the Kingdom shine brightest in difficult seasons.

We do want to reassure you that we are working on putting a plan in place to stream our sermons should the need to cancel services in the future persist. Our leadership team will continue to have conversation on how we will bring worship services and fresh weekly content into homes and small group gatherings in the days ahead, should the need arise. Our LifeGroups will continue to meet during this season.

We are taking this day by day and hour by hour in consultation with our leadership team as well as state and local officials. Given that there are confirmed and/or presumed cases of the virus in Waukesha County, we have to proceed with wisdom. Please understand that the situation is fluid and may change by next weekend.

Tomorrow has been declared a National Day of Prayer, so be intentional in praying blessing and protection on our families, our city, our nation, and our world. We do not live in fear, but in faith!
